In April 2020, when we left the Big Apple for Lakeside to quarantine, I bought a camera. It's September now. We're still here and I'm still taking photos. Amid the political, health, environmental, and racial strife in our country, I've found respite in seeking out moments of peculiar beauty and trying to capture them.
